History
Records were lost due to a flood, so the year of founding is unknown. In 1736 CE (Bunbun 1), the monk Yuui Shonin from Koyasan Zenshu-in entered the temple and planned its reconstruction, which was completed in 1739 CE (Bunbun 4). Later, in 1834 CE (Tenpo 5), a monk rebuilt the halls. The temple burned down in the 1945 Osaka air raids but was restored after the war.
