卯辰山寺院群の北側に位置する、門構えが立派で境内が整備された綺麗な寺院です。駐車場は寺の前にあり、周辺の寺院も利用可能です。御朱印の授与があり、二月三日の節分には本格的な追儺式が行われるなど、季節の行事も盛んです。
