境内や社殿は非常に綺麗に手入れされており、掃除が行き届いているという声が多く寄せられています。熊本地震の修復が完了しており、門の近くには地蔵尊が祀られています。参拝時には茶菓子をいただくこともあり、落ち着いた雰囲気の中で参拝や座禅ができる環境です。
