三河湾を見下ろす高台に、高さ約18mの巨大な弘法大師像がそびえ立ち、山からの景色も楽しめます。境内には人慣れした鳩が多く、100円で餌を購入して手乗り体験ができるのが特徴です。無料駐車場がありますが、山道は細く曲がりくねっているため運転には注意が必要です。
