周囲は自然に囲まれた静かな環境で、特に9月下旬から10月上旬にかけては広範囲に彼岸花が咲き誇る見どころがあります。境内には子授けの「跨ぎ石」があり、夫婦で跨ぐことで子宝に恵まれると言われています。駐車場は小規模で数台分しかないため、車での訪問には注意が必要です。
