Shoho-ji Temple
福井県福井市城東二丁目
A Tendai Shinsyu sect temple located in Sainai-cho, Fukui City. It houses the graves of the Sengoku warlord Shibata Katsuie and his wife, Oichi. Events such as the Katsuie Festival and memorial services at the graves are held here. Red plum trees favored by Katsuie bloom within the temple grounds.
