広大な敷地を持つ立派な寺院で、アセビやモクレン、しだれ桜などの花が美しい季節があります。境内には珍しい鶏の墓があり、周辺の広瀬川の堤防付近には白鳥の姿も見られます。お盆期間中は周辺道路の渋滞が発生しやすいため、車での参拝には注意が必要です。
