越後八十八ヶ所霊場の第二番札所です。境内は手入れの行き届いたお庭があり、海側から入ると階段や駐車場が見えます。御朱印の受付については、本堂横のご自宅に声をかけるか、留守の際は本堂の左扉にある小さな引戸から印鑑セットを借りるなどの方法があります。
