階上岳の麓に位置し、清流や巨木に囲まれた神聖で神秘的な雰囲気の神社です。境内には祈りの道があり、周囲の自然を感じながら歩くことができます。御朱印の受付はありますが、スタンプの内容が分かりにくいとの指摘もあります。本堂手前の階段下は木の根で遮られているため、足元に注意が必要です。
