境内の東入口にある太鼓門は、平屋建ての長屋門の上に三層の櫓を載せた特徴的な建造物です。最上階には大太鼓が吊り下げられており、かつては町の人々に時刻を知らせる役割を担っていました。現在は皮が破れて使用されていませんが、歴史を感じさせる独特の風情があります。
