In the first year of Kōchō (1260 CE), during the reign of Emperor Kameyama, it was promoted to Senior Fifth Rank, Upper Grade. In December 1906 (Meiji 39), it was designated as a Gōsha, and in February 1917 (Taishō 6), the deity Sagoon was additionally enshrined.
