改築された石の鳥居や拝殿の屋根の緑が美しく、現代でも地元に愛されている様子が伺えます。境内には相撲の神様の碑が設置されており、祭事の際に使われる荒縄が飾られていることもあります。子供が遊ぶ姿も見られ、昔ながらの村の社交の場のような温かい雰囲気の神社です。
