池田動物園の東側に位置し、夏でも日陰で涼しく感じられる境内です。10月には秋祭りが行われ、出店や子供たちが引くだんじりの賑わいが見られます。階段は少なく、坂道を利用すればベビーカーや車椅子での参拝も可能です。社務所では御朱印をいただくことができ、秋には銀杏が美しく彩られます。
