無人のお堂ですが、隣接する光明閣には十万人の名前を書き綴って描かれた巨大な大師像があり、圧巻の光景です。御朱印（スタンプ）の授与があり、納経箱は堂内左側に設置されています。国道沿いに位置し、山手薬師堂から小道を進んだ先にあります。
