外宮の摂社として、ひっそりと静かな雰囲気に包まれた神社です。石垣に向かって建てられた珍しい鳥居があり、鳥居と石垣の間は幅が狭いのが特徴です。周辺は住宅街で、参道付近の道路は交通量があるため、住宅街側を歩いて向かうのが安全です。
