急斜面を登る必要があり、参拝には体力を要しますが、木々に囲まれた静かで雰囲気の良い場所です。山門の仁王像や観音堂は力強い印象を与え、向拝の正面には竜の彫刻があります。境内には多数の石仏が配置されており、通力不動堂も隣接しています。
