錦帯橋や岩国城からも近く、住宅街にありながら自然に近い環境で整備された境内です。階段を上がると白蛇をガラス越しに拝見でき、資料館や小さなお社も点在しています。駐車場は参道の手前と奥にあり、御朱印や白蛇の脱皮した皮の入った御守りの授与も可能です。
