森の中に位置し、神秘的な雰囲気が漂う神社です。本殿の手前には冷たい湧き水があり、水汲み場として訪れる人も多くいます。境内は手入れが行き届いており、本殿の左側からは岩手山を望むことができます。参道は未舗装の道が含まれるため、車や自転車でのアクセスには注意が必要です。
