中川の土手沿いの公園に隣接しており、川からアクセスしやすい場所に位置しています。境内には11本の桜の樹があり、春にはお花見を楽しむ人の姿も見られます。映画のロケ地としても知られており、地域に溶け込んだ小さく落ち着いた雰囲気の社です。なお、周辺にトイレがない点には注意が必要です。
