山の中腹の高台に位置し、眼下には下仁田の街並みが一望できる素晴らしいロケーションです。境内には大きな杉やイチョウなどの大木があり、山門を潜ると弁財天や菩薩像が並んでいます。入り口が分かりにくい面もありますが、広大な敷地には歴史を感じさせる石碑や像が点在しています。
