山上城跡に隣接する広い敷地内には、駐車場や講堂があり、境内は整えられています。山門前には大きなムクロジの木や、江戸の地名名付けに関する標柱が立っています。本堂前では御朱印の書き置きが配布されることもあり、歴史を感じられる落ち着いた雰囲気の寺院です。
