History
Murakami Kisuke, a general of the Kawano clan, enshrined a deity statue brought from Fushimi Inari Taisha. After his death, his family built a shrine in the Saka district to enshrine it. In 1880 (Meiji 13), a shrine was established in Hanazono Town. It was subsequently relocated to Dogo Park and then to Dogo Imachi, before being moved to its current location in November 1909 (Meiji 42).
