境内には歴史を感じさせる古木や、見事な紅白の枝垂れ梅があり、特に2月頃は梅の開花とメジロの姿を楽しめます。野点や棒茶の振る舞いが行われることもあり、静かな雰囲気の中で過ごせる市民の憩いの場です。多くのベンチが設置されており、参拝しやすい環境が整っています。
