香椎宮の境内にある池の中に鎮座する末社です。朱塗りの鳥居や池に架かる橋があり、水辺の清々しい空気の中で穏やかに参拝できます。手入れが行き届いており、池に映る鳥居の風景も美しく、香椎宮の参拝とあわせて立ち寄るのに適したスポットです。
