4.1(640)

A Buddhist temple rebuilt centuries ago. It offers a view overlooking the city and is also a famous spot for cherry blossoms.

What visitors say

Located on a high ground and surrounded by trees, this temple has a tranquil atmosphere. The stone steps in front of the Niōmon (Guardian Gate) are steep, but once you reach the top, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Ichikawa. The temple grounds feature a weeping cherry tree over 400 years old, making it ideal for spring strolls. Goshuin (a temple's calligraphic seal stamp) and other items are available at the guest hall, and a parking lot is also available.
