入り組んだ住宅地の中にあり、赤い山門を抜けると意外なほど開けた境内が広がっています。平坦で広い砂利敷きの空間は、どことなく索然とした雰囲気が漂います。境内には本堂や僧房のほか、お墓が立ち並び、文化財に指定された写経石を解説する看板も設置されています。
