苔むした庭園に囲まれた静かなお堂で、国宝の阿弥陀三尊像を拝観できます。堂内は船底型の天井が特徴で、極彩色の絵が描かれています。阿弥陀如来を挟んで、大和座りの姿で座る観世音菩薩と勢至菩薩が安置されており、穏やかな雰囲気の中で参拝が可能です。
