旧中山道の秋宮と春宮のほぼ中間点に位置し、徒歩での参拝の際に立ち寄りやすいのどかな雰囲気の神社です。社務所などはなく無人ですが、道沿いの玉垣からは温泉が出ています。駐車場はなく道幅も狭いため、車での参拝には不向きな環境です。
