中将姫ゆかりの寺院で、境内には彼女の供養塔や宝篋印塔、虚空塚などが点在しています。観音堂には優美な木造の子安観音立像が安置されており、大和北部八十八ヶ所霊場の御朱印も授与されています。静かな雰囲気の境内ですが、一部の通路は細く足元に注意が必要です。
