城の残石で作られた275段の大きな石段があり、急で足の運びにくい箇所があるため、足腰に注意が必要です。参道には登山用のスティックが用意されています。林の奥に位置し、神聖な雰囲気を感じられる境内です。冬場は石段の凍結に注意が必要ですが、御朱印の授与も行われています。
