ひっそりとした落ち着いた雰囲気の寺院で、境内には弘法大師の像や大きな鐘、三島神社が祀られています。2月には梅が咲く日本庭園があり、歴史を感じさせる古風な佇まいです。建物が古いため本堂内への入構は不可ですが、外から参拝することができ、御朱印の授与はありません。
