塩船観音寺の境内にあり、100円の志納で誰でも鐘を撞くことができます。諸々の災厄を消滅させ幸福をもたらすための鐘で、つつじ畑を見晴らしながら山内に音が響き渡ります。大晦日には除夜の鐘の行列ができるほか、特定の時間帯は鐘撞が禁止されているため注意が必要です。
