広陵町萱野
A Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-Ha temple, also known as Hashio Gobo. It boasts one of the largest main halls in Nara Prefecture, characteristic of the Jodo Shinshu sect.
History
Founded around 1476 when Rennyo was granted land by Hosokawa Katsumoto. The temple underwent several relocations, moving from Settsu Tomita to Sawada and then to Taniguhara, before settling in its current location in Asano, Koryo Town in 1652. The current main hall was rebuilt in 1842 by Tatsujo.
