境内や本堂、墓地は綺麗に手入れされており、穏やかな雰囲気です。山門の脇には赤い花を咲かせる木があり、本堂の左側にはイチョウの木が見られます。毎月28日には「同朋の会」が開催されるなど、寺報の発刊や行事も行われています。
