住宅地に隣接する低山の尾根筋に位置し、入り口は少し分かりづらい場所にあります。参道は狭く急峻ですが、境内からは蒲原平野の素晴らしい眺望を楽しむことができます。以前は林に覆われていましたが、現在は見晴らしが良く、隠れた名スポットとして知られています。
