山の裾を利用した広大な境内は、手入れが行き届いており重厚な雰囲気があります。本殿の裏には洞窟のような場所が見え、樹齢数百年のイチョウなどの御神木も存在します。かなりの階段を登る必要がありますが、地域に愛されている清々しい社寺です。
