What visitors say
The vast temple grounds feature grand structures and cultural properties, characterized by a quiet atmosphere that evokes wabi-sabi. During the autumn foliage season, the grounds are illuminated, and walking paths are well-maintained. The approach path is steep and includes gravel sections, so wearing comfortable shoes is recommended. Parking is available near the three-story pagoda and in front of the red gate. Goshuin (temple seal stamps) are also available.
