大きな木がランドマークとなっており、城の外堀のような白漆喰塗りの瑞垣が神社を囲んでいます。石畳の参道を通り、広い境内には拝殿と本殿が分離した造りの社殿や境内社が鎮座しています。また、境内には道君首名の墓があることも知られています。
