山門の唐獅子の彫刻や仁王像、境内にある毘沙門天や日蓮聖人の像が印象的な寺院です。境内はこじんまりとしていますが、手入れが行き届いており、立派な本堂や稲荷神社、浄行地蔵様などがあります。茂原法華七福神めぐりの対象寺院であり、寺務所ではスタンプを押すことができます。
