山門の仁王像や、山門脇に伸びる見事な老松が特徴的な寺院です。本堂脇には水子地蔵尊があり、浄行の石像への信仰も厚いようです。菓子屋横丁から徒歩圏内で、駐車場も整備されています。季節ごとに桜やタイサンボクが咲き、周辺には他の寺院も点在する風情ある環境です。
