六足門の山門をくぐると、池泉式庭園や本堂、毘沙門堂が広がる境内が広がります。境内には「出水の七不思議」にまつわる松や椿の木があり、神仏習合の趣を残す鳥居や、力強い毘沙門天像も見どころです。特別拝観では、丁寧な解説とともに、歴史を感じさせる装飾や仏像を鑑賞できます。
