In 1433 CE (Eiko 5), the first Soro Kaneyuki acted as the patron for the reconstruction of the shrine at the same site. During the Meiji era, it was designated as a Goshuisha (village shrine) and a shrine for the offering of food and cloth to the imperial court. In 1954, it was designated as a Chosan-kou Teishitei Jinja (a shrine designated for high-ranking visits) by the Prefectural Shrine Office, specifically as a Kinpaisha.
