武田信玄ゆかりの寺として、本堂裏手には遺骨の出土地や霊廟があります。立派な惣門や山門、石碑など歴史を感じさせる建造物があり、周辺の自然も楽しめます。境内は非常に静かですが、建物には経年変化による古さが見られ、季節によっては落葉の景色も楽しめます。
