「小さな桂離宮」とも称される格式高い書院造りと、枯山水庭園の美しさが特徴です。山肌に広がる庭園は、紅葉の季節や冬の雪景色も情緒豊かです。京都市内から離れた静かな環境にあり、徒歩でのアクセスには坂道がありますが、落ち着いた雰囲気の中でゆっくりと拝観できます。
