境内は紅葉が非常に美しく、特に三重塔の周囲は見事な景色を楽しめます。本堂は金箔の天蓋や瓔珞で厳かに飾られた内陣があり、落ち着いた雰囲気で拝観できます。御朱印の授与もあり、観光客も比較的少なくゆったりと参拝できる環境です。
