本堂は改修され、猫の石像などが置かれています。境内は高台にあり、平井川沿いの集落を見渡せます。裏山の頂上には妙見宮があり、急な階段や坂を登る必要がありますが、そこからは東京都心まで見渡せる絶景が広がっています。無料駐車場も完備されています。
