本堂や鐘楼、仁王門は比較的新しく、冬の早朝には凛とした空気が漂います。裏山の奥にある河津三郎祐泰の墓所や曽我兄弟の首塚へは、山道や階段を登る必要があるため、運動靴の着用が推奨されます。また、相撲に関する碑も立っており、周辺には歴史的な墓所も点在しています。
