静かな境内にあり、江戸時代の職業の手彫りパネルや、本殿の欄間にある職人技の彫刻、四獣神の彫刻など、歴史を感じさせる見どころが豊富です。境内には放し飼いの鶏や楠の巨木があり、石橋や洒落た手水鉢、灯籠などの意匠も特徴的です。
