漢國神社の境内にある末社で、和菓子のルーツとされる饅頭の祖神を祀っています。毎年4月19日の饅頭祭では、限定の復刻奈良饅頭の販売や、つきたてお餅のふるまいが行われるなど賑わいます。近鉄奈良駅から近く、製菓上達の神様として参拝する人が多く訪れます。
