千体観音堂には厳粛な空気が漂い、千体仏の圧巻の光景を拝むことができます。境内には樹齢300年と言われる伊達家ゆかりの枝垂れ桜などがあり、桜の季節には見応えがあります。御朱印の受付は寺務所で行われ、初穂料は観音様のお賽銭箱へ納める形式です。
